Acrobat provides standard tools to split PDF into single pages. For more sophisticated tasks like to split PDF files into groups of pages (e.g. chapters) we have created the tool MVPDFPageExtractor.

For example MVPDFPageExtractor is able to work with external information (e.g. CSV files) and using document specific content or meta information like font names or font sizes as well.

MVPDFExtractor can work with single input files and/or with folders, using a customized naming convention for the output.

We are able to adapt such tools to our customers needs in a short term.

Acrobat has standard tools to merge PDF files e.g. by putting the contents of a folder into one PDF document. For customers who had to deal with very complex collections we have created some special tools that outreach simple merging.

For example these tools are able to create bookmarks using document specific content or meta information. Additionally they can put stamps on pages or insert e.g. cover pages. The merging process is logged for customer specific use. The tools can work with complex folder structures and a huge amount of files.
