The Plug-In analyses one or more PDF files, identifies the article or spare part numbers and combines them with text and / or hierarchical information.

The result is written into a structured file which then can be used for a database import.

Acrobat provides standard tools to split PDF into single pages. For more sophisticated tasks like to split PDF files into groups of pages (e.g. chapters) we have created the tool MVPDFPageExtractor.

For example MVPDFPageExtractor is able to work with external information (e.g. CSV files) and using document specific content or meta information like font names or font sizes as well.

MVPDFExtractor can work with single input files and/or with folders, using a customized naming convention for the output.
